Wellness Shots

Not a big fan of juices, but I’ll never turn down a ginger shot. Not only does it settle your stomach but it also helps out the immune system while being anti inflammatory. You won’t need a juicer, but if you don’t want to eat the pulp you can strain through a mesh seive or nut milk bag.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large ginger root
  • 2 tsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1-2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 6 oz. filtered water

Method:

Peel and chop the ginger root, add to a blender with honey, turmeric, and apple cider vinegar. Strain if desired, take a 2 oz. shot when you’re feeling a little under the weather or having digestive troubles. I keep these in small ziploc containers (as pictured above) to consume throughout the week.
